Course Description

About Course

This Level 5 diploma has been developed to equip experienced practitioners in adult social care settings with the leadership, management and service-development knowledge and skills they need to take on senior roles. It is aimed at those who are already working in or aspiring to work as registered managers, service managers, deputy managers or in other strategic leadership roles within adult care provision.

The qualification supports the standards set out by the sector-skills body Skills for Care and aligns with the apprenticeship standard for “Leader in Adult Care”.

What Will You Learn?

By completing this qualification, learners will be able to:

1. Lead, manage and improve adult care services, putting the wellbeing and outcomes of individuals at the heart of decision-making.
