Aims & Objectives

Practical Competence: Build practical reading, writing, and communication skills for everyday real-world contexts.

Fluency & Confidence: Enable learners to construct clear arguments, analyze various text types, and communicate effectively in group and individual settings.

Course Outcomes

The qualification consists of 3 mandatory components:

Speaking, Listening & Communicating (Internal Task): Present information clearly through a presentation/talk and participate actively in group discussions on complex topics.
Reading (External Exam): Understand, compare, and analyze complex texts (articles, reports, instructional material) to identify bias, purpose, and key details.
Writing (External Exam): Produce clear, structured, and grammatically accurate written texts (formal letters, emails, reports, articles) using correct spelling, punctuation, and style.
